I could bike to work in 20 minutes, but I am scared. There are no bike lanes. There are no paved shoulders. How can I get to work on a bike when there's no safe way to get there?
Cyclists are generally not liked by motorists. In some cases, we bring that upon ourselves as we show little regard for cars on the road. However, if motorists have no issue waiting to pass a tractor doing 20 km/h, why do they get upset behind cyclists? We need to do something to change this mindset.
