Tour de Speed

The Newmarket Eagles Cycling Club has been sponsoring the Tour de Speed youth road race and time trial since 2007. During that time, participation has grown steadily and now attracts hundreds of southern Ontario’s finest young cyclists between the ages of 9 and 16. Races are run on paved country roads with rolling hills to add to the challenge. Events include a TT of 3.0 or 4.3 kms and a road race of 8.6 to 34.4 kms, depending on age.
